Mark Haase is the Chief Engineer for the Center for Threat-Informed Defense, where he
oversees technical strategy and execution across all Center research projects. Mark previously
worked at Microsoft on the Office 365 cloud for USGOV customers. Prior to that, he
participated on DARPA research programs focused on law enforcement capabilities for digital
crimes and the dark web. Mark is currently pursuing a master's degree at the UC Berkeley
School of Information. He lives in the greater Washington, DC area with his wife and two kids,
and in his free time he enjoys biking and cooking.
